Public Mental Health Services
Hanford Elementary School District currently employees five (5) full-time School Counselors. School Counselors are trained to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally. They work directly with students to address academic and social-emotional needs, as addressed by parents, school personnel and other key stakeholders. They also collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
