Small Groups

Small groups provide additional learning experiences, giving children the opportunity to build relationships, practice new skills, and learn through the support of group members. Small group topics vary widely and are determined by data and current need.

Groups will typically begin six-weeks into the school year and will occur in cycles. Students can join the group at the start of each group cycle. Groups will meet once a week for approximately thirty minutes and last from 6-12 weeks depending on the curriculum and need.

If you are interested in having your child in a group, please fill out the School Counseling Referral Form. Once the referral form is submitted a decision of services will be made.

Small groups include but are not limited to:

   Anger Management
   Coping with Stress
   Social Skills
   Conflict Resolution
   Mindfulness
